➤ What is Computer?
A Computer system is a mix of electronic hardware and software. It accepts data as input and processes it to provide us with an output. But, it can only follow the instructions that we give it.
➤Internal Parts of Computer
SMPS- SMPS is stands for Swich Mode Power Supply. SMPS is a part of Computer which receives 230vac and give desired DC voltage to all internal parts of Computer. Output voltages are +12v, -12v, +5v, -5v and =3.3v.
Motherboard- Motherboard is a main circuit board of Computer which connects all internal and external parts of Computer. It acts as an interface among all Computer parts.
Processor- Processor is also known as Micro Processor. Processor is the heart of Computer. It receives instructions from input devices, process them, store them and send their results to output devices.
Harddisk- Harddisk is a basic storage device of Computer. All applications, partitions, user's data and other data are stored in Harddisk.
RAM- RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It is the main primary memory which stores current running information till power is on. It sends data and instructions to Processor for processing.
ODD- ODD stands for Optical Disk Drive. It is use to copy, write and rewrite data in disk. It is three types- CD, DVD and BD.
Heatsink- Heatsink is a part of Computer which used to cool CPU.
Peripherals - A peripherals device is a device, such as keyboard or printer that is not part of the basic Computer. Ex. of peripherals: Mouse, Keyboard, printer and Monitor.
